Erosion Control

A mixture of compost and seed was applied with the Express Blower to an eroding streambank near a bike path. This immediately stabilized the slope and held it over the long-term with established vegetation.The entire process took about one hour. The area was kept open to the public during germination, and even though it was disturbed by dogs and other animals, the seed sprouted into an effective erosion control layer.

Sediment Berms

Terraseeding

Terraseeding is a fast and effective way to germination. With the Express Blower trucks, all needed materials are already loaded into the truck bed. The Express Blower truck has a supplemental injection system which allows fertilizers, grass seed, wildflower, and other granular material to be planted rather than exposed on the surface. For this reason, germination is greatly increased because of the warmth and moisture received from the materials. By having your lawn or wildflower field blown in, you are sure that it is a nice smooth finish of well-drained topsoil.
