Florida’s Mulch Express provides installations on hundreds of Playgrounds for Day Cares, Schools and Home Owners every year. The material that we most commonly use is called Playground Turf. Playground Turf meets and exceeds ASTM standards set by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (ASTM F1292) and exceeds the requirements of the American Disabilities Act (ADA) for wheelchair accessibility testing (ASTM F1951).

Playground Turf is a superior quality wood-fiber material. Playground Turf’s fall-protection effectiveness is grounded in the physics of wood chips. When it is laid, the finer wood chips sink to the bottom creating a soft bedding for the larger pieces on top. This natural “layering” provides buoyancy that cushions the impact of a fall, and insures quick drying. Please click here for more information:
